Deutsche Bank welcomes its Class of 2018 graduates

Deutsche Bank has today welcomed seven new graduates to its Corporate & Investment Bank in Australia.

Deutsche Bank’s Australia & New Zealand CEO, Anthony Miller, said: “Six of the graduates are previous participants of our talent programs demonstrating how important these initiatives are in sourcing the best and brightest students.”

Deutsche Bank has a wide range of programs and engagement with universities to attract graduates. Its Aspiring Talent Program (ATP) targets female students in their penultimate year of university and involves a one month workplace education program.

“The ATP has been a really successful pipeline to the bank’s internship and graduate programs,” said Jules Nickson Pole, Head of Human Resources for Deutsche Bank Australia. “Since the program started in 2012, nine participants have gone on to the graduate program including three of this year’s seven graduates.”

The bank also runs internships over the summer break for 12 weeks involving up to 15 interns and a scholarship program in association with the University of NSW. Two of the Class of 2018 are former interns and one joined via the UNSW scholarship.
